City of Mati Mayor Michelle Nakpil Rabat is imposing stricter guidelines for everyone to follow amidst the Covid-19 outbreak in the country.

In the City Government of Mati Guidelines No. 1 for Corona Virus Disease (Covid-19) issued on March 13, Mayor Michelle ordered for the cancellation of all school activities.

All tourism-related establishments and accommodation facilities are also directed to submit a weekly list of guests including their place of origin to the City Tourism Office.

Religious gatherings are also advised to take precautionary measures to maintain social distancing.

Visitors coming from areas areas with known local transmission like Metro Manila, Cagayan de Oro, Dumaguete, Pampanga, and Bulacan will be subjected to a mandatory 14-day quarantine.

All agencies, both private and government, are also directed to submit a list of their employees with recent travel history in areas with known local transmission. They area also advised to regularly disinfect their respective workplaces.

Mati residents are meanwhile advised against traveling to areas with known local transmission of Covid-19. Everyone is advised to refrain from going to public places.

A 10 p.m. curfew will also be enforced for minors which will end at 4 a.m. the following day.

All Barangay Health Emergency Response Teams (BHERT) are also directed to do daily reporting to the Incident Management Team-City Epidemiology Surveillance Unit (IMT-CESU) for Covid-19 any related incidents especially information of person with travel to places with local transmission.
