MATI MAYOR SIGNED E.O NO. 06-02-10  WHICH REORGANIZES THE PEACE AND ORDER COUNCIL

  Mati, Davao Oriental – Mayor Michelle Nakpil Rabat of Mati, Davao Oriental has signed the reorganization of the Peace and Order Council of Mati thru Executive Order No. 06-02-10. 
 
The order premised on the desire of the local government unit of Mati  to act the mandate of all local government units to establish a local peace and order council in cognizance of the importance of peace, order and public safety. 
 
The chairperson of the newly reorganized council is the Mayor of Mati and the Vice Mayor will be the Vice Chairperson. 
 
The members of the Council is composed of the PNP and Mati Fire Chief, Social Welfare Officer, Municipal Engineer, Health Officer, MENRO, CSU, and Public Information Section as ex-officio members.  
 
Also included as members are Hon. Rey Oliveros – Representative of the SP, Mrs. Erlinda Lumpay – District Supervisor, Mr. Arsenio Obre, Sr. – Veterans Federation of the Philippines, Mr. Conrado Buencamino – of Retired Employees Association of Mati, Atty. Manuel Lepardo, Jr – IBP President Mati Chapter, Engr. Edwin Barrera of DREAMS. 
 
Aside from the change and reorganization in the composition, the Peace and Order Council has new secretariat composed of the Administrator and MLGOO of DILG.
