The City Government of Mati, in cooperation with the DOSCST, offers this Community Fitness Program for all who desire supervision, direction, education, and camaraderie in their health and fitness efforts. Our vision is to help improve health and wellness by providing exercise opportunities for those who are physically out of shape or desiring more structure in their workout efforts. We aim to get you feeling better, stronger, and more energetic.

 

Business One Stop Shop opens in Mati City

Mati City (January, 2013) -- To encourage more investors in the city and to make the process easier and systematic, the City Government of Mati City opens this year’s Business One Stop Shop Program at the Pealez Activity Center, City Hall compound this city. The annual program started last January 4 and will culminate on January 20, 2013. The Business Permit and Licensing Office (BPLO) will lead the 3 week one stop shop program. Mr Joel Capalit, BPLO Head, encouraged the businessmen in the city to either renew or start a new business to get a business permit. The BPLO set – up an all in – one desk for the very important local and national agencies, manned with personnel to provide necessary services to the clients.

LGU – MATI JOINS PLEDGE OF SUPPORT FOR ECOTOURISM

City of Mati – The Mindanao Travel and Tour Expo (MTTE) 2010 was successfully and actively participated by different local chief executives in the region, members of the travel and tours and allied agencies, tourism officers, planning officers and exhibitors from various regions of the country.

The said event has lined – up several activities which include a congress that discussed the infrastructure needs of Mindanao Tourism under the Mindanao Development Authority, Halal Culinary Program and the symbolic singning of commitment of support for EcoTourism.

The City Government of Mati headed by Mayor Michelle N. Rabat joined the ecotourism congress last Saturday, August 21, 2010, at the Davao Trade Convention Center, Davao City.

The congress aims to draw out programs in the provinces and cities down to the grassroots level in order to come up with a Community Based Rural Tourism for Mindanao.

DOT Secretary Alberto Lim led the signing of commitment of support for EcoTourism with Usec. Oscar Palabyab. Officials who have pledged support includes City of Mati Mayor Michelle N. Rabat, Dvo. Del Norte Congressman Antonio Lagdameo, Jr., ComVal Congresswoman Ma. Carmen Zamora-Apsay, Mayor Lim of Lupon, Mayor Edgar Saulon of San Isidro,  Mayor Aniano Antalan of IGACOS, and other local chief executives in the region.

Other attendees are Regional Director Sonia Garcia, officials and members of travel and tours and allied agencies, tourism officers, and invited exhibitors.

Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte hosted the event in time of the celebration of the Kadayawan Festival.
