City Government of Mati, with DOSCST, offers free Community Fitness Program

The City Government of Mati, in cooperation with the DOSCST, offers this Community Fitness Program for all who desire supervision, direction, education, and camaraderie in their health and fitness efforts. Our vision is to help improve health and wellness by providing exercise opportunities for those who are physically out of shape or desiring more structure in their workout efforts. We aim to get you feeling better, stronger, and more energetic.

 

Business One Stop Shop opens in Mati City

Mati City (January, 2013) -- To encourage more investors in the city and to make the process easier and systematic, the City Government of Mati City opens this year’s Business One Stop Shop Program at the Pealez Activity Center, City Hall compound this city. The annual program started last January 4 and will culminate on January 20, 2013. The Business Permit and Licensing Office (BPLO) will lead the 3 week one stop shop program. Mr Joel Capalit, BPLO Head, encouraged the businessmen in the city to either renew or start a new business to get a business permit. The BPLO set – up an all in – one desk for the very important local and national agencies, manned with personnel to provide necessary services to the clients.

LGU MATI AWARDS TOP TAXPAYERS

Mati, Davao Oriental (November 30, 2010) – The local government unit of Mati as  an annual practice,  gave honor to the top business taxpayers and real property taxpayers in Mati. 

It was Mayor Michelle N. Rabat who handed the awards during the 107th Founding Anniversary of Mati. The awardees are classified as Top 12 Business Taxpayers, top 10  Real Property Taxpayers and top three Barangays in Real Property Taxpayers collection.

A plaque of appreciation was given to the awardees in appreciation of their great contribution to the Local Government Unit of Mati  and their sincere response to the local taxation program.
 
The top 12 Business Taxpayers for 2009 were, Davao Oriental Electric Cooperative (DORECO), Davao Central Warehouse Club, Inc., E.R Superstore, Madayaway Distributor, Inc., Freemont Foods Corporation – Jolibee, Avon Cosmetics, EMCOR Inc., Jorge B. Redulla Marketing,  Rhodwill Parts and Hardware and New Panorama Marketing, Mati Agro – Industrial & Commercial Corporation (MAGRICOM), One Network Bank, and PLDT – PHILCOM, Inc.

Top three (3) Barangays in RPT collections for 2009 are, Brgy. Bobon, Brgy. Danao, and Brgy. Luban.  

For the top ten (10) Real Property Tax Payers, Davao Central Warehouse Club, Major Telecoms, Inc., Leopoldo Isona & Nilda Isona, EMCOR Inc., Rodulfo C. Silvestre, PETRON Corp., Sun Leisure Realty, Inc., Beatriz Vda De C. Valles, & New Ventures Realty Corp.

The criteria in the selection is the full payment and on time payment of Annual Tax in CY 2009. Business Permit and Licensing Office Head Joel Capalit and Municipal Treasurer Aloma Serafin spearheaded the Awards Committee.
