The City Government of Mati, in cooperation with the DOSCST, offers this Community Fitness Program for all who desire supervision, direction, education, and camaraderie in their health and fitness efforts. Our vision is to help improve health and wellness by providing exercise opportunities for those who are physically out of shape or desiring more structure in their workout efforts. We aim to get you feeling better, stronger, and more energetic.

 

Business One Stop Shop opens in Mati City

Mati City (January, 2013) -- To encourage more investors in the city and to make the process easier and systematic, the City Government of Mati City opens this year’s Business One Stop Shop Program at the Pealez Activity Center, City Hall compound this city. The annual program started last January 4 and will culminate on January 20, 2013. The Business Permit and Licensing Office (BPLO) will lead the 3 week one stop shop program. Mr Joel Capalit, BPLO Head, encouraged the businessmen in the city to either renew or start a new business to get a business permit. The BPLO set – up an all in – one desk for the very important local and national agencies, manned with personnel to provide necessary services to the clients.

DENR conducts political boundary survey project in City of Mati

Mati City (May 08, 2012) -- The city government of Mati has recently launched the groundbreaking ceremony of the political boundary survey project covering the 26 barangays of the city by the Department of Environment and Natural Resources - DENR Region – XI.

Mati City Mayor Michelle N. Rabat led the groundbreaking and time capsule laying ceremonies to officially start the political boundary survey project together with RTD Felix S. Alicer – RTD4 of Land Management Services, DENR – XI officials, and the contractor of the project Gilbert Palacol.

The survey aims to define and determine the meters and bounds of the 26 barangays in Mati.

Mayor Rabat were very grateful that finally the survey of the political boundaries in the city will be conducted and thankful to the DENR who will spearhead the project.

The DENR- XI assured to the city government of Mati of their full cooperation for the completion of the program.

RTD Alicer oriented and explained the Brgy. Captains and the focal persons of LGU-Mati about the project on political boundary survey the importance of the survey in order to prevent land conflicts in the future.

The DENR emphasized that the political boundaries will give the city an advantage for the basis of the tourism, infrastructure, economic development plans in the near future. The barangay captains are requested to prepare all the available documents for the basis of the surveys includes resolutions, maps and land title.

The launching was participated by the DENR Officials, city officials and city department heads and barangay officials.
