The City Government of Mati, in cooperation with the DOSCST, offers this Community Fitness Program for all who desire supervision, direction, education, and camaraderie in their health and fitness efforts. Our vision is to help improve health and wellness by providing exercise opportunities for those who are physically out of shape or desiring more structure in their workout efforts. We aim to get you feeling better, stronger, and more energetic.

 

Business One Stop Shop opens in Mati City

Mati City (January, 2013) -- To encourage more investors in the city and to make the process easier and systematic, the City Government of Mati City opens this year’s Business One Stop Shop Program at the Pealez Activity Center, City Hall compound this city. The annual program started last January 4 and will culminate on January 20, 2013. The Business Permit and Licensing Office (BPLO) will lead the 3 week one stop shop program. Mr Joel Capalit, BPLO Head, encouraged the businessmen in the city to either renew or start a new business to get a business permit. The BPLO set – up an all in – one desk for the very important local and national agencies, manned with personnel to provide necessary services to the clients.

CITY OF MATI RECEIVES NEW AMBULANCE

City of Mati (April 01, 2011) -- The City Government of Mati received a new ambulance from the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) through a cost sharing scheme between the PCSO and LGU- Mati on March 2011, through a formal turn over ceremony and blessing. 

Mati Mayor Michelle N. Rabat said that the project was materialized through the help of Congresswoman Thelma Z. Almario, Vice Governor Joel Mayo Z. Almario and his wife Ms. Nancy Diez - Almario who made the follow- ups in Manila.

The lady Mayor further expressed her appreciation to Vice Governor Almario & Cong. Thelma Almario for extending their help inorder to materialized the ambulance. Rabat also extendi her gratitude to Ms. Nancy Almario for the effort she made at the PCSO Office.  

Dr. Ben Hur Catbagan, City Health Officer, personally received the ambulance at the PCSO Office in Manila.

The brand new air conditioned - ambulance is complete and well equipped with stretchers, oxygen, medicine cabinet and will be intended for the City Health Unit for emergency usage and referrals of patients to Davao City.

The lady Mayor expressed her gratitude to the PCSO for being true to its mission to provide better health services to the people.

The Wife of Vice Governor Joel Mayo Almario, Mrs. Nancy Almario, personally turned- over the new ambulance to the Mayor. Present during the ceremony are City Health Officer Dr. Ben Hur Catbagan, City Councilor Alan Andrada, City Administrator Richard Villacorte and former Vice Mayor Cesar De Erio.
