FITNESS RUN:Run for a Hearty Cause Season 2

After the successful conduct of the first fitness run activity last February 2011, the City Government of Mati will once again spearhead the same pre-valentine activity on February 12, 2012, Sunday. Dubbed as FITNESS RUN:Run for a Hearty Cause Season 2, the said fitness run will be held at the Mati Park and Baywalk. Registration starts at 4:00 AM and race starts at 5:00 AM. Everyone is invited to join. Registration Fee is P 50.00 for adults and P 20 for students. Proceeds of which will benefit the Mati Deaf Association. Mati City opens one-stop shop for business permits

The city Government of Mati through the Business Permit and Licensing Office (BPLO) opens its yearly One-Stop Shop Program for business new applicants and renewals for the year 2012. Mr. Joel Capalit, BPLO Chief announced earlier that they officially opened the program last January 2 and will last until January 20, 2012. The 20-day business one-stop shop program aims to facilitate business operators to apply/renew their business permits and licenses. Capalit urged the business owners and taxpayers in Mati City to take advantage the program and further clarifies that after the scheduled deadline of one-stop shop, penalties will be added to the late filers. Important agencies and department from the barangay level, to the city and national agencies will be present and available during the 20-day conduct of business one-stop shop program for business operators. Business owners and operators are advised to bring the needed and important papers.
